In The Shadow Of The Blade - An EXTRAORDINARY documentary. Nam Huey pilots fly a Nam Huey on a 10,000 mile US journey - reuniting vets who've not seen each other in 30+ years (some who saved each other's lives); bringing together vets who served with, and maybe spent last living moments with, men killed in action and those men’s families; and visiting with nurses and donut dollies and men who endured difficult, pivotal moments in Nam, like LTC Hal Moore.

Patriot Guard Riders - Outstanding group of vets, and those who love us, committed to ensuring funerals of fallen military heroes are not disrupted by protesters. PGR mission statement (excerpt): Our main mission is to attend the funeral services of fallen American heroes as invited guests of the family. Each mission we undertake has two basic objectives:     1. Show our sincere respect for our fallen heroes, their families, and their communities. 2. Shield the mourning family and friends from interruptions created by any protester or group of protesters. (NOTE: You do not have to ride a motorcycle to participate in honoring these young men and women)
Minnesota Honors Vietnam Vets - Join the Minnesota Department of Veterans Affairs and the Minnesota veterans community on June 13, 2009 at the State Capitol grounds as Minnesota Honors Vietnam Era Veterans, an event to honor, show respect for, remember and celebrate all veterans who served during the Vietnam era. This group of veterans served our nation with pride and returned to a society that failed to recognize their courage and sacrifice. Many were met with misplaced anger and violence as a result of the unpopularity. It is time to proudly celebrate these individuals and unite as a community in our support and gratitude for their service and sacrifice.
