This 604th website is dedicated to the men who served their country in Vietnam as Highlanders, members of the 604th Transportation Company (Aircraft Direct Support) at Camp Holloway, near Pleiku, in the rugged Central Highlands of South Vietnam. We did a great job in a noble and worthy cause ... and we did not fail. Rather, the politicians of that time, shamefully, failed us, their fighting men & women; the honor, integrity & heritage of our great country; and, most
sadly and tragically, the people of South Vietnam, who they had PROMISED not to abandon ... but did.
